Where You Will Belong

You will join a high-performing, innovation-driven SAP AI architecture and engineering team at the intersection of enterprise SAP and artificial intelligence. The team turns complex ideas into scalable, production-grade SAP solutions.

What You Will Do

You will serve as the SAP architectural authority for AI-driven solutions delivered to external customers, ensuring every design decision is traceable to measurable business impact within the SAP landscape.

• Engage closely with customers and SAP stakeholders to understand goals, challenges and opportunities and translate them into a clear SAP AI architecture vision.
• Design and deliver scalable, reliable end-to-end SAP AI solutions based on SAP AI Foundation and SAP Build Suite.
• Lead architecture reviews and blueprint sessions as a trusted advisor who communicates complex topics in a business-friendly way.
• Define measurable success criteria and ensure performance, quality and adoption across the SAP ecosystem.
• Identify and prioritize high-value SAP-native AI use cases including S/4HANA, BDC, Analytics Cloud and BTP.
• Ensure responsible AI practices including transparency, fairness, explainability and data privacy.
• Advise on latest SAP AI innovations on SAP Business AI Platform and support future-proof architectures.

As a senior member of the SAP architecture practice, you will contribute to team direction, standards and SAP AI capabilities.

• Apply and refine the SAP AI architecture framework, standards, patterns and best practices.
• Contribute to SAP AI strategy and roadmap for the unit.
• Support pre-sales and solutioning activities with proposals and PoCs on SAP BTP and AI Core.
• Mentor junior and coach AI Architects through knowledge sharing and structured development.
• Contribute to SAP thought leadership and introduce emerging SAP AI technologies.

What You Will Bring

Education and Track Record

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, AI, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 6-8 years of SAP experience, including 3+ years in an architect role.
• Thought leadership in the SAP ecosystem is a strong plus.
• Professional fluency in German B2+ and English C1+.

Technical Expertise in SAP Architecture

• Expertise in Fiori UI and CAP Framework for enterprise-grade full-stack applications on SAP BTP.
• Very good understanding of SAP architecture principles including Clean Core, RISE with SAP, GROW with SAP and cloud transformation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services and tools including SAP Build, Process Automation, Build Apps and Integration Suite.
• Ability to design integration architectures across SAP and non-SAP systems using Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh and Data Intelligence.
• Familiarity with SAP data models and enterprise data architecture including S/4HANA and Datasphere.
• Expertise in enterprise integration patterns and protocols including APIs, OData and SOAP.

Technical Expertise in SAP AI Architecture

• Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGen and CrewAI combined with SAP Data Intelligence and Datasphere.
• Proficiency in designing Generative AI solutions on SAP BTP using Generative AI Hub, RAG patterns, prompt engineering and LLM orchestration.
• Understanding of SAP AI Foundation on BTP including AI Core, multi-model serving, HANA Cloud vector engine and Document Information Extraction.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP HANA Cloud AI and ML capabilities including predictive analytics, vector search and SAP Analytics Cloud integration.
• Understanding of AI and ML lifecycle management and data orchestration using SAP Data Intelligence Cloud.
