Key Tasks

• Contributing technical expertise to international project teams in the implementation of IT-based, mission-critical voice communication systems
• Integrating and further developing highly available, safety-critical IT systems
• Providing technical leadership to interdisciplinary teams without disciplinary responsibility
• Coordinating system architectures, interfaces, and technical concepts with internal and external stakeholders
• Acting as the primary technical point of contact for customers and collaborating with them on an equal footing
• Analysing technical challenges and developing sustainable solutions
• Turning technical concepts into high-performance, field-proven high-tech systems
• Taking on various roles depending on project needs, both at headquarters and on-site with customers

Key Qualifications

• Completed technical education (HTL, University of Applied Sciences or Technical University)
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in IT, software or telecommunications projects, with a strong focus on technical delivery
• Solid hands-on expertise in Linux, Kubernetes and cloud-native platforms
• Strong knowledge of VoIP and real-time communication systems
• Good understanding of IP networking and related network technologies
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools
• Ability to deliver technical training to customers and integration partners
• Background in safety-critical environments or IT security is an advantage
• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA, Cisco or Red Hat, are a plus
• Very good English and good German skills; French or Spanish is an additional advantage
• Customer-oriented mindset and willingness to travel internationally (up to 15%)

Salary

The remuneration for this position consists of: The collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 52,178 gross per year (based on a 38.5 hour week) PLUS an overpayment in line with the market depending on your professional qualifications and experience.
