Job summary
SCARLETRED is looking for a full-time, office-based Mobile Engineer (iOS / Android). The role supports the further development of Scarletred Vision and Scarletred Telemedicine within an experienced software development team that continuously modernizes an ISO13485 certified software system.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of a mobile application that is patient and doctor facing.
- Create modern software applications and features following the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, release and maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members regarding projects, development, tools and training.
- Provide occasional high-level end-user support including feature training and troubleshooting.
- Continuously develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve iOS and Android software, apps and SDKs.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to reach client goals.
- Design and build software with security built in.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.
- Minimum 5 years of job experience with mobile development.
- For iOS: knowledge of Swift, Xcode, ARKIT4 and passion for exploring new AI technologies.
- For Android: knowledge of Java, JDK and Android Developers Kit; Android platform development experience is a plus.
- Experience with mobile design patterns, mobile frameworks and SDKs, custom app components and app performance optimization.
- Working familiarity with Angular, RxJS, Web API, Microservices, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Entity Framework, GitHub, SQL/NoSQL, SDLC and software release management.
- Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills.
- Strong care for quality, testability and maintainability.
- Proactive attitude and ownership for code.
- Fluent German or English.
- Willingness to work 100% on-site at the headquarters in Wien, Österreich.
- Valid EU work permit required.
