We are seeking a Solution Architect accountable for the system and solution architecture of our Air Traffic Management (ATM) IT Voice Solutions. As a key member of our Pre-Sales team, you will drive the technical and commercial design of complex offers, ensuring they are aligned with ATM market requirements, our business strategy, and our global delivery capabilities. You will provide strategic technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from initial Kick-off to the Critical Design Review milestone, delivering high-impact IT voice solutions to our international customer base.

Key Tasks

• Lead Complex Bidding Processes with focus on complex offers in technical and commercial part, as a key member of the Pre-Sales team.
• Own the Solution Design and develop integrated technical solutions based on customer and market requirements.
• Bridge the Gap as central interface between Product Management, Sales, Delivery, and Service, integrating proprietary technology with third-party products.
• Champion Innovation to drive the evolution of the portfolio and align offerings with future-proof industry standards.
• Architect Complex Concepts and develop robust solution concepts and documentation for winning proposals.
• Lead as a Subject Matter Expert during product demos, high-level presentations, and technical workshops.
• Provide Strategic Project Lifecycle Support from internal Kick-off to the Critical Design Review milestone.

Key Qualifications

• Proven Track Record: Several years of professional experience in Requirements Engineering within the Telecom/IT sector; industry expertise in ATM mission-critical communications or broadband networks is an advantage.
• Technical Depth: Strong understanding of communication architectures and safety-critical applications, plus knowledge of the public procurement process.
• Communication: Ability to translate deep technical complexity into clear business value for diverse stakeholders.
• Influence: Experience in collaborative environments and ability to align stakeholders through influence.
• Analytical Mindset: Structured and solution-oriented approach.
• Academic Education: Master's degree in Telecommunications, IT, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Ownership and Drive: Self-starter with high customer focus.
• Willingness to travel: Up to 40%.

Salary

The remuneration for this position consists of the collective agreement minimum salary of EUR 61,197 gross per year based on a 38.5 hour week, plus an overpayment in line with the market depending on professional qualifications and experience.
