Your tasks
- Act as the technical authority for COMOS E&A systems across refineries and capital projects.
- Administer, maintain, and optimize COMOS systems and support digital asset integrity management by ensuring accurate, complete, and up-to-date engineering and technical documentation throughout the asset lifecycle.
- Develop and implement short-, mid-, and long-term COMOS availability, design, and operational strategies.
- Ensure compliance with standards, workflows, work instructions, technical documentation requirements, and global operating principles.
- Lead and support COMOS-related activities in projects, including system enhancements, lifecycle management, and deviation management.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IT/OT security requirements, NIS2-related governance processes, quality standards, and legal and HSSE obligations in cooperation with relevant OT Security Officer and related subject matter experts.
- Manage interfaces with IT, procurement, vendors, contractors, and external partners, including specifications, tenders, and contract management.
- Drive training, knowledge transfer, and development of technical documentation expertise across international sites.
- Monitor and manage budgets, KPIs, benchmarking activities, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Plan and execute technical audits and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and system effectiveness.
Your profile
- Master’s Degree / Diplom in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, IT Service Management, Process Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in engineering, automation, technical asset documentation, or COMOS-related environments.
- Extensive knowledge of COMOS/CAE systems, E&A documentation, electrical engineering, process automation, and industrial plant operations, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong understanding of industrial cybersecurity and regulatory requirements, including NIS2, IEC 62443, data protection regulations, and IT/OT security principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and training/knowledge-transfer skills.
- Leadership experience in international and multicultural environments; fluent English and German; willingness to travel up to 10% within Europe.

The minimum gross annual salary according to the collective agreement amounts to EUR 96.614,-- all-in. Depending on skills and specific experience, over-payment is possible.
