To strengthen our Innovation Management team at ORS comm GmbH & Co KG, we are looking for a Senior Expert Innovation Management.

Your responsibilities:

Innovation Strategy & Business Development

• You will identify and evaluate emerging technologies, market trends and business opportunities with a focus on media, streaming, cloud and digital platforms.
• You will proactively drive new innovation initiatives, develop strategic partnerships and explore disruptive business models for Big Blue Marble.
• You will translate innovative ideas into concrete business opportunities by initiating and managing pilot projects, prototypes and Proofs of Concept.
• You will contribute to strategic R&D initiatives and innovation projects together with internal teams and external partners.

Innovation Lab & Stakeholder Coordination

• You will coordinate the Big Blue Marble Innovation Lab, organize sprint planning and align priorities with Product Owners, technical teams and business stakeholders.
• You will ensure successful execution of innovation initiatives by driving collaboration, removing roadblocks and maintaining transparency across projects.
• You will actively contribute where needed by preparing concepts, validating technologies, coordinating partners or supporting technical discussions.

Innovation Ecosystem & Knowledge Sharing

• You will build and maintain relationships with research institutions, universities, startups, industry associations and technology partners.
• You will represent Big Blue Marble at conferences, trade fairs, workshops and industry events while identifying new collaboration opportunities.
• You will prepare presentations, market analyses, technical reports and strategic recommendations and promote knowledge sharing across the organization.

Your skills that inspire us:

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications or a comparable technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in Business Development, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, Product Management or a comparable role.
• Strong understanding of emerging technologies, digital platforms, cloud computing, media technologies, streaming or telecommunications.
• Experience driving innovation projects, pilot implementations, Proofs of Concept or research initiatives from idea to execution.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Interest in AI trends and AI-assisted software development, with the ability to assess their business and technological impact.
• Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Fluent German C1/C2 and English language skills at a minimum of B2 level are mandatory.

Here's what we're proposing for you:

In addition to an annual salary in line with the market, we offer a benefits package consisting of a mobility allowance for the Wiener Linien annual ticket or the KLIMATICKET, a company canteen, our bonus programme, the pension fund and a sports programme.

We offer professionals with relevant training and experience a gross annual salary in line with the market of between 56,000 and 72,000 euros for full-time employment.

Remote work: You can work from home, from the modern office or hybrid. Details can be discussed in a meeting.

Travel

This position includes occasional national and international business travel, with an expected travel commitment of up to four weeks per year, primarily for conferences, trade fairs, workshops, partner meetings and industry events.
