What You Will Do

Customer-Focused Outcomes

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions through workshops, prototyping, and iterative delivery.
• Collaborate with customers across workshops, reviews and UAT to refine and optimize solutions.
• Design and implement production-grade AI solutions on SAP AI Foundation, covering data, models, APIs, front-end integration and agent-to-agent communication workflows.
• Deliver Generative AI use cases on SAP BTP, including RAG pipelines, chatbots, document processing and AI-driven workflows.
• Build and manage SAP AI Core pipelines, including training, model serving and monitoring for production readiness.
• Develop conversational and agent-based AI solutions such as SAP Joule.
• Build end-to-end SAP applications using CAP and Fiori.
• Design and orchestrate agent-based workflows across SAP and non-SAP systems for intelligent automation.

Functional Contributor for the Team

• Define and promote SAP AI development standards, coding practices, reusable components and deployment guidelines.
• Conduct code reviews and peer assessments.
• Mentor and support engineers through knowledge sharing, pair programming and technical coaching.
• Contribute to pre-sales by developing and presenting PoCs and technical demos.
• Support Agile delivery processes with strong technical input.
• Stay current with SAP AI and broader AI ecosystem trends.

What You Will Bring

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, Information Systems or a related field.
• 7+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years in SAP BTP development and/or AI/ML engineering in enterprise SAP environments.
• Track record of delivering production-grade SAP AI solutions across full project lifecycles using frameworks such as CAP, Fiori and Integration Suite.
• Professional fluency in German and English at C1+ level.
• Strong Python skills for AI/ML development with tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, scikit-learn, pandas and NumPy.
• Experience with SAP BTP, SAP CAP, SAP Fiori/UI5, S/4HANA extensibility, REST APIs, OpenAPI and SAP API Management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP AI Foundation, SAP Generative AI Hub, SAP AI Core, SAP AI Launchpad and MLOps capabilities.
• Knowledge of agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen or CrewAI.
• Experience with RAG architectures, embeddings, vector search and retrieval strategies.
• Strong communication, ownership, analytical thinking, adaptability, Agile understanding and mentoring mindset.
